The Phases and Timeframes
The projected project timeline is broken up into three phases: design, preconstruction, and construction. The estimated start date for the design phase is August 30th, and is broken up into three sub-phases: community outreach, preliminary design, and final design. This design phase process is estimated to take 7 months. The next phase is pre-construction, and consists of permit acquisition and project bidding; this phase is estimated to take a year and a half.
PROJECTED PROJECT TIMELINE
The construction phase is the next phase, and is broken up into two stages. The aeration diffusers and rehabilitation channel will be built and installed simultaneously in the first stage, and will take approximately a month and a half to complete. The second stage is for focused dredging and will take less than a month to complete.
We will finish the project with a closeout period of about 3 months which will bring the estimated time of project completion to early April, 2024.

Based on the projected completion time, the duration of project completion is approximately two and a half years.
