THE GOAL

The overall goal of this project is to remediate the Puddingstone Reservoir, and remove contaminants from the water and sediments within the lake. By focusing on the issues of low dissolved oxygen, high organic matter, and the presence of mercury and PCB's, our team was able to come up with solutions to remove contaminants from the aquatic environment. The removal of these contaminants will improve the quality of water in the reservoir, and positively impact the communities that use the Puddingstone Reservoir recreationally.
